Once upon a time…

May 25, 2010

Wishing I knew the rest of the story as well as I know the beginning.  Yet, that might be boring.  To know…

I’ve decided to participate in the upcoming Jazz and Art Festival in Fulton on June 12th.  I should be able to ‘borrow’ pillows/jackets/prints from my booth at the Art Bazaar, and then create additional pieces in the next three weeks.  I keep upping the ante on how much I think I can get done in a certain time period.  I did finish the binding on those two face quilts yesterday, yet they still needs some beads.  Oh, and I also have that other one to complete by the end of May (yikers) to stay on schedule.

Some time soon I’d like to get back in the studio/shop and start chiseling.  I have tons of walnut and need to take a trek out to Lawrence, KS to pick out some stone.

I am not sure who did this piece, yet I’m intrigued to try my own spiral in alabaster.  Yes, indeed.  Spirals rock.
